Choose the right grind

Whole bean: for grinding fresh at home.
Coarse: French press / plunger.
Medium coarse: pour-over.
Medium: siphon.
Fine: espresso / moka pot.
Extra fine: Turkish coffee.

For espresso machines, a grinder gives you more control over extraction. Drip bags are ready to brew and need no grinding.

Keep your coffee tasting good

Reseal the bag after each use. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. If you grind at home, grind just before brewing.
